On this day of Thanksgiving I would like to take a moment to thank all of my leaguemates for helping make the MFFL a damn fine fantasy football league.

Now go eat some turkey.

After all negative stories we hear about athletes it's nice to once in awhile read something positive.

Tony Romo buys movie ticket for homeless man

Earlier this year there was a story about Romo helping a couple change a tire after a game.

It's refreshing to see a genuinely nice guy succeed in a league filled spoiled narcissists. You may not like his team, or his girlfriend, but it's hard not to like Tony Romo.

I'd like to take this time to remind everyone to vote on, or before, this Tuesday.

I don't care... well, I do care who you vote for, but more important than that I care that you cast a ballot for anyone.

My biggest hope for the next four years is to bridge the divide between people of different ideologies, so that we can disagree on how to approach our nation's problems without resorting to aspersions on each others character.

Calling someone a traitor, or a terrorist, or any other inflammatory label over political differences needlessly keeps wounds open, and diminishes the meaning of those terms for those who actually deserve them.
