Playoff Outlook
It's a bit of an unusual year for playoff implications. Four playoff slots are filled with only two teams competing for the last spot.
Burners, Baddogs and Captain Awesome are all in the playoffs, though the exact order of their seeding will be determined over the next two weeks.
Blues Breakers have won the Landry Division.
Otter Science and Groundskeeper's Willie are vying for the Halas Division title. Otter Science can clinch with two wins, or any combination of a win and Groundskeeper's Willie loss.
Week Thirteen Final Scores
Bearded Clams 47, Blues Breakers 22
Baddogs 47, Tom & Jerry 21
Burners 56, Captain Awesome 47
Nerf Herders 34, Myopic Moose 29
Otter Science 36, Groundskeeper's Willie 31
Victorious Secrets 48, Hoverround Flashmob 44
2010 Playoffs
After week thirteen's action the five playoff teams are set. Baddogs and Burners will battle for the Rockne Division crown, but both teams are assured of at least a wild card. Burners hold the tiebreakers, so for Baddogs to take the division they need to win and have Burners lose.
Otter Science has won the Halas and Blues Breakers have won the Landry. Captain Awesome will be one of the two wildcards.
Seeding for the consolation tournament is also still at stake in week fourteen, with the non-playoff team with the best record getting a first round bye.
Giants/Vikings Postponed
Please note that the Giants/Vikings game has been postponed until Monday night.

As always, playoff teams should be sure to submit an ordered list of tiebreaker players via email or private message. It takes a couple seconds, and think how dumb you would feel losing a playoff game because you forgot to.
Reminder: Only teams that are still in competition may make waiver moves. For the purposes of waivers this does not include the consolation teams.
Additional Waiver Reminder
Players dropped during the playoffs (so, now) are ineligible for pickup for the remainder of the season.
Payouts as of Today
If the season were to end today these would be the payouts. These will tick up slightly as more money enters the pool from waiver moves.
- Division Winners $21.62 eacg
- Points Leader $32.43
- Consolation Winner $54.06
- 1st Place $421.63
- 2nd Place $216.22
- 3rd Place $108.11
- 4th Place $97.30
- 5th Place $86.49
Waiver Question
Feel free to ignore this if you wish, but I'm curious if anyone else uses a mathematical formula to determine what to bid on free agents? I've been using one for several years, and wondered if other did as well.
Week Fifteen Final Scores
Wildcard Game:
Baddogs 28, Captain Awesome 24
Baddogs advance to play Burners next week. Captain Awesome finishes in 5th place.
Consolation Playoffs:
Bearded Clams 50, Hoverround Flashmob 24
Tom & Jerry 48, Victorious Secrets 29
Nerf Herders 60, Myopic Moose 31
Bearded Clams and Nerf Herders will play each other next week, with Tom & Jerry being matched up against Groundskeeper's Willie.
Please note: We had a near miss this weekend for a tied playoff game. Neither team had submitted their tiebreaker list. The procedure for how to proceed for this situation is not covered in the rules. The Rules Council, in addition to the treasurer and a neutral third party have determined that for the remainder of the year this situation would be solved with a coin flip. The rule will be addressed in the off season to remedy the problem.
Of course you can avoid this by just emailing/private messaging/texting/smoke signaling an ordered list of non-starters to the commissioner.
Week Sixteen Final Scores
Baddogs 49, Burners 37
Blues Breakers 41, Otter Science 30
Consolation Playoffs:
Groundskeeper's Willie 68, Tom & Jerry 32
Nerf Herders 37, Bearded Clams 21
Matchups in week seventeen:
Blues Breakers will meet Baddogs in the Championship Game. Baddogs will be looking for their second consecutive title, and Blues Breakers will be going for their first ever.
The third place game will be between Burners and Otter Science.
Groundskeeper's Willie and Nerf Herders will compete for the Consolation Tournament title.
