Trade Deadline
Just a reminder: The trade deadline is November 11. The deadline was supposed to have been November 6, but due to a display error the Rules Council has voted to extend the deadline to the date that was displayed on the web site so as to avoid any confusion.

Scoring Analysis
The scoring average for the league the last three years has been 30.44, 28.15 and 28.09. This works out to a three year average of 29.89, just slightly above our historical average of 28.09.
Through ten games our average this year is 35.77, just a little below my projected gain of 7 points on last year. I expect to make up part of the difference as we have just reached the end of bye weeks for the season.
In general the new scoring system has met my expectations.
